My right hand side headlight is higher than my left hand side headlight because someone bumped into me. Yay!  :happydance:

Does anyone know how to adjust the right headlight so it matches the height of my left one please?
(not the control in the car which moves both at the same time please)

I've a 08 I30 Premium 1.6L Petrol

This below is the car similar to mine for reference but is not mine.

If you have extra long Philips head screw driver, or use 10mm spanner. There is a slot in the back end of the light unit. Use the screw driver to move the mechanism, or adjust the light directly from the 10mm bolt.

Not sure if it will work, if someone has hit the car. Might be something broken in the light.

Welcome. Seems strange that someone bumping into you has moved the light but it is still working!

It is easy to add photos just click on "click here to an an image to your post" under the reply box and follow the instructions..

There are adjustment screws in the headlight itself which you can tweak from above the light when the bonnet is open with a Philips head screw driver. There are 2 screws one for up and down and one for right to left..

This old thread might help you.

Has the headlight unit been dislodged which just needs to be 'pushed' back into place or has there been some bodywork damage causing it not to sit correctly?

You reckon I should take the entire light casing out and try re seating the light before trying to adjust it?

I would consider doing that and check for damage to body/light seating otherwise it won't sit correctly.

Have you checked the actual plastic light body and the lamp holder to see if by chance that has moved in relation to the perspex light cover and bulb holder?

Was there any damage?
