I assume this isn't fake news or an attempt at satire. If is is true that's the 4th recall on the new Mazda 3! The article says it's only the 2nd but there were definitely 3 others! No wonder sales of the 3 have stalled, although the big price jump would also be a factor.

If you were a Mazda Executive you would have to start suspecting sabotage.. maybe some disgruntled employees or some strategically placed workers from a rival brand!

How would you feel having a minimum of five recalls in the first year with your new car! I had a couple of very minor ones with a Holden Camira..  and also with my Holden Calais V but again very minor.. these have mostly been quite serious.. wheels falling off, brakes, stopping without warning!

Possibly the semi-literate author, Ryan Carbrey, is a Mazda engineer.
