@CraigB Pleased to hear about mum and sounds like dad is on the road to recovery.
It's been a long time between drinks for you and I and I'm thinking it will be a long time more the way things are going.  :(

COVID-19 Conspiracy Theories

The link to 5g video on You Tube puts a strong case but I'm not sure how that explains all the cruise ship cases (do they transmit in 5G on cruise ships (I might have to google that)

The near one is the Mk1. The Mk2s have some refinements including reduction in filament use. The big hole is for your index or middle finger, helpful especially for our older citizens.

Up in Birmingham (Sparkhill I believe) a 5G mast was set on fire...

Hope you're all keeping safe and well.

You are correct - there were also five 5G cable distribution boxes set on fire around the West Midlands.

Sparkhill is a scruffy run down dump. The majority of people who live there - if you call it living - are Asians who have brought with them the social grace and living standards of a Karachi slum. The place is filthy and there is spit, phlegm and litter everywhere.  The only good thing I can say about it is that some of the Asian Supermarkets and Indian/ Bangladesh  restaurants are worth a visit. The sight of us anglo saxons shopping there attracts attention but we never feel unwelcome or unsafe. We go there to buy our herbs and spices.

The North west coast of Tassie is turning into a hotspot!  :sweating:

The worst outbreak has been at the North Western Private/General Hospital where at least a dozen staff have tested positive.

To make this worse this is the Hospital where my Daughter Ashley had Odin 12 days ago and we (well Ash and Odin) were only in their ED department 3 nights ago when we had a bit of a scare with him. Trish and I stayed in the car for the hour or so they were inside.

They are in the process of setting up a drive through testing facility in Devonport and I feel us four would have good grounds to be tested. We have been monitoring our temps which have been ok so far but it appears this is not a full proof method.

My PD symptoms have taken a turn for the worse since this situation has escalated. My mobility has suffered (not moving well) and I have been feeling generally "off" nausea, headaches and tiredness. I think this could be a combination of less sleep, more stress (new baby in the house) less massages only had one (probably my last for a long time) about a week ago. Also like my others my restricted getting out and about has resulted in reduced stimulation of my senses...  :Pout:

I have set  up quite a good exercise arrangement in my office but will still need to find some safe areas to do brisk walks as these seem to be crucial to my mobility.

My office is crammed full of gear...

@CraigB  Any more news on M & D ?

Cheers Terry, very kind of you. Fortunately I just got approved for the disability pension after a long "fight" so that will be a help. This entitles me to cheaper hearing aids which I do need desperately.  Trying to organise them might be tricky though.  :crazy1:

@Dazzler  look after yourself buddy, for exercise you've got a fairly large block you can survey on your rounds...chase the bush chooks :)

I can certainly understand your concern for Ash and Odin with visiting the hospital, I know it's harder than it sounds but try not to worry and keep good thoughts in mind...mental health just as important in these times and you don't need the extra stress of worrying until it happens.

Best wishes mate and a safe quiet Easter to all  :)

Not much yet, mums still improving and this morning I managed to get a backpack sent off via DHL to the Embassy in Canberra with some clothes and bits and pieces for mum once shes released, still a couple of weeks yet.

Quite a difficult process to send anything to Rome at the moment, copies of passport and two documents from Rome regarding declarations and a letter of acceptance are required before DHL would be able to help, an email to my very helpful case manager Michael at the embassy solved it so I just send to them and they'll get it to Rome.

Dads also improving, he's been getting calls from the police every day the last three days asking where he is, which he's enjoying having a laugh at :) the police are at a house in Mandurah and they've never lived there :head_butt:  he tells them every day he's in the Duxton with Covid...lack of communication in several areas of the government at the moment :disapp:

I'm booked in with Specsavers for a hearing test on Tuesday 14/4. I can have basic Aids with my DSP Pension or pay a bit extra for better ones (which I reckon I will do)

I'll be able to hear Trish properly after that maybe..  :Pout: :fum: :snigger:

Mum called me at work today to tell me she got a letter telling her she has $750. The first thing she wanted to do was go her local bank branch.

"Why, Mum? Stay home safe. It's in your account. Just spend it on your card when you need it. Nobody wants to handle cash anyway."

"But I don't have a card!" :faint: :head_butt: :crazy1:
