Putting aside the usual "anybody but England" stuff, I have to say that if they qualify it will be an injustice to the other teams in their (admittedly weak) group and will allow the dismal performances we have seen so far to be let off lightly, they really need to fail to get through and then suffer the indignity of coming home early in order to really bruise their over-inflated egos.

The ITV commentary team got it bang on last night when they said that the problem is each of the players in the England squad are used to being the star player in their respective teams, they have to consider they can't ALL  be the star in their National squad.

ITV4 for me tomorrow, c'mon Jason (see I am not anti-English), there is a Scottish driver in BTCC, but Sheds comes second to Jason for me, been a Plato fan for years!!
