Greetings from Sweden!

Hello guys, a fresh member here coming at you from northern Sweden!

A couple of days ago I put an order in for a i30 1.4 Petrol as my very first brand new car, and now I'm just reading around the internet and browsing information and pictures. I came across this site, which seems very active and filled with knowledgeable people that are willing to help fellow carowners.

I live in Jämtland, specifically in Östersund. I hope that the new car stand up with the climate up here. It should not be any problems when it's in the garage at home and we have electricity poles at the parking lot at work. Where do you live by yourself?

Your car will survive the winter fine.
I also have a garage at home and we also have electricity poles at work so i can connect the engine and interior heater.
Without engine and interior heater, the car would not cope with the winter, (take an eternity for the engine to get warm and get the car free of ice when it is really cold outside).
This is probably not a problem for you with gasoline car, only for us with a diesel.
I live in Halmstad on the Sunny West Coast.

Yeah swedish chicks are nice I guess, but they dont appreciate a proper car I tell you! They either have no clue about what they're talking about, or are hardcore Volvo-fans. But I'll see what I can do about getting a beauty to pose next to MY beauty when it arrives
