Good evening all,
As the subject mentions, I am currently looking at purchasing a second hand 2017 i30 Diesel Premium 7 sp Auto My18 (ex Government Vehicle). It has 41k on the odometer. However I have two concerns.... first I am a man who loves manuals.... secondly, the DCT debate. I have found a few threads on this forum about the cars DCT having issues. Is my concern warranted? My current 2008 i30 (manual Diesel) has survived 340k and the gearbox is failing.
I apologise if the answer is elsewhere, but I do not want to hand over my hard earned money to have the DCT fail shortly after the 5 year warranty!
