Hi,
Long story short.. I picked up a pranged 2021 i30 this week for a bargain... fixing it as we speak!
( and don't ask about replacement grille's - they simply don't exist! )

The bumper was broke..  and the lower passenger (RHD) fog/driving light got smashed/missing..
Got another to suit!.. but the connector on the harness is missing, leaving just the 6 bare wires (no connector)
Easy to fix, but have found that the colour of the wires on the RHS connector are different to the LHS harness !!
So I can't just follow the same colour to pin assignments off the RHS connector/harness.. grr
Q: anyone know the colour to pin assignments for this beast?
    or  anyone got a 2021 i30 they can check their connector?
I just need to know what colour wire goes to what pin on this 6 pin connector so I can attach each to replacement connector.  Can't seem to find a workshop manual for 2021 (which has these lights)
a photo of such would do..

Hi, AJ.

If you get no joy in the replies, try doing a comparison signal trace with the other side.
It shouldn't be too hard a job to identify the function of each wire regardless of colour since the behaviour is meant to be identical.
A cheap test lamp probe or multimeter should do it.

Did think of that, however.. 6 wires? 
Not sure why 6 wires.. I was expecting just 2 wires eh!..  (gone are the days of on/off)
possibly the 2021 i30 .. the light does some extra obscure things under certain conditions?
was thinking I might not get signal from all 6 wires till then, and might be hard to replicate..
if I can't get hold of colours I'll have to suss as per your suggestion..
just didn't want to wing it..

Does your lamp assembly include a DRL? If so, that might account for 2 of the 'surplus' wires - you could test this with a multimeter.

Additionally (not knowing the spec of your 2021 vehicle) if it does include a DRL does that DRL double-up as an indicator, or do you have a separate indication system.

If no further advice appears, in terms of discovering the pinout colour matching, might be worth visiting a wreckers and ask to have a look.

might be able to check one out at a dealer?
they might not like me messing with a new car but..

( vehicle is actually dated Nov 2020 on VIN.. but all the part numbers of Grille and lights etc are 2021 parts!!
....2020 parts don't match/fit )

was hoping an owner/member could check theirs  eh..

Yep.. the indicator is built into this baby..
I eventually got the multimeter out..
Was able to determine 4 out of 6 wires from voltage activation of certain functions.
luckily, the other 2 wires had certain unique characteristics.. (like jumping to 5v when starting the motor.. or putting the handbrake on/off ??)
anyway, I simply matched the characteristics between L & R harnesses, to match wires and note the respective pin and wire colour.
All Working..
have attached some images below..   in case it helps someone else down the track..
