its pretty straight forward!!! i mean its not like there are sub sections in sections!

i mean if you wanted to you could make a pictures section then have sub the sub sections like "diesel, petrol, random"

and the mods section , then have the subs with...

kinda like http://www.maximasdownunder.org/forums/ has the generation sepcific and there are cefiros, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 generations in it...

BUT all that is doing it hiding things IMHO

a good thing to say here is "if it aint broke dont fix it" i mean there is no use in re-inventing the wheel!!! its a good forum, every thing is easy to get to, and its easy to see if there is a new post :P

One of the best forums on the net. Clear, concise, topical. Got the best set of moderators around too :D

Anyone saying otherwise is obviously a net n00b with little experience of forums

I usually find when I go to a new web site they have there own quirks.

But once I've been on it for a while it becomes simple to use.

I personally find this site very easy to use as all forums are laid out in an easy to use format.

  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

Unless I'm creating a new thread I generally don't navigate, I just press "show new posts since last visit".

StuartB
Could not be easier. I just use "Show unread posts since last visit".

Easy to navigate. I do miss having a quick reply box at the bottom of threads though like shown here:
http://www.preludeaustralia.com/forum/showthread.php?p=681065#post681065

It's so you don't have to click a reply button and wait for another page to load.

I find it very easy to navigate - the sections are simple and self explanatory.

However now I've been here a while I just use the "Show unread posts since last visit" as well.

You should have said so earlier.

Don't you have this option in your profile?

Absolutely fine.
DO NOT. I repeat DO NOT change it.
I'm not a member of a lot of forums (half dozen maybe) but this is IMO the best and easiest to use. I like the background colour scheme, too.
The red background really sets it off.

Have never really got into forums before this as I always found them a bit tedious.
Really like checking this forum, reading as many posts as possible, adding my two cents worth occasionally where I can.

Great people talking about something they really like with out getting up themselves about it.
Definitely an easy forum to use.. :D
