Hey girls and boys,

We have a i30 FD 1.6 CRDI 90hp. I fixed some issues with the 14 yo, but have more things that might be necessary to be done.

Like: at 2000 rpm, you can hear a noise coming from the engine. I think it is the chain.
Can it be fixed? The counter is 237.0000km , does the chain needs to be replaced?
Somebody told me it would go away after replacing the oil and filter. Is that true?

I do not have to tools for chain replacing  (saw a YouTube video, man!! Not for me!)

Other: when do glow plugs needs to replaced ? After 5/10 years? Or after 100.000 km?
What’s its interval ? I can not tell if the car starts poor, it starts after glowing. I have nothing to compare or saw they work bad.
