HI Everyone

Yesterday I purchased my first Hyundai car; an i30 diesel SLX. Pretty excited and am now waiting for it to be delivered. Used a broker which is something I would highly recommend as we received a wonderful price and lots of extra fruit. To me it is in the luxury car bracket and at $25 500 d/a with tinting, full tank of fuel, tow bar and 12 mths rego, it's a real steal. I checked out and reviewed so many cars before making our decision. I wish they had kept the gunmetal grey; not sure how I feel about hyper silver, but it's only a minor point.

Welcome to the club.. I am in Tassie but I have Family and friends in Perth...

The i30 is very popular in WA and we have heaps of members over there..

I had a an i30 slx crdi for nearly 2 and a half years and did almost 68,000 kms ..

Probably the best car i've had out of 26 cars.. I think that hyper silver will grow on you it is a nice colour..

You won't be disappointed..congratulations  

P.S. Great price by the way... and they keep their value too (mine is in a Toyota yard at $19990 and it has got nearly 70,000 km on it, a March 2008 model with no ASC or cruise)

Thanks guys for your kind welcome, encouragement and speedy response. My partner sold her 2006 Getz for $8750 so they definitely keep their value. She had only done 27000km on the clock though.

We had a 2006 Sky Blue 1.6ltr Getz for about 12 months from new and I still have fond memories of zipping around in it..
