Good evening everyone,

My beloved 2008 I30 (D4FB 85kw alloy intake no cat on turbo) has had a turbo failure (turbine is dislodged) now it has 220000km on it and the injectors have been a bit average the last 12 months (heavy black clouds on cold start)

I’m trying to track down a low km engine, and have found a few but they are all from auto’s.

The scrap yards are saying they won’t fit my vehicle because the engines are from automatic vehicles.

Now for the life of me I can’t see why I can’t just put my wiring harness on the engine and transfer my flywheel and clutch over (will probably replace it when I do the swap) and mount my gearbox up?

Is the bolt pattern on the block different from auto to manual I can’t find any actual info on this.

Cheers

It can be done the only thing is different are the dowel pins just twist them off and replace, bolts pattern is same.
