Well hi, joined this site cause I've got myself a very nice i30cw diesel. Its not my first Hyundai, and it won't be my last. I already love my car and am looking to make it even more lovely.

Hi cafstar.. I'm guessing a nice set of alloys for starters (unless you got the Trophy edition)

I was thinking of wheels, but I really like hankook's, so I think I'll wait till I wear out the stock tyres before I get rid of them. Right now my wish list is comprised of a sway bar... and a sway bar.
I didn't get the trophy edition, sx manual diesel. My understanding is that the trophy only comes in petrol. Which makes no sense because its the diesel that won the "best midsized car award".

Good answer (about the diesel I mean) it is no secret on here that I'm a bit of a CRDi fan..

You could go to Bob Janes (Sorry Trev) and pick up a nice set of 15" alloys to fit your existing Hankooks for only around $100 each or less... Use them for 2 years and then sell them for about half that with your say 80% worn tyres if you wanted to go to 16" or bigger next time around...

It was diesel or nothing really, I'm still getting 750kms to a tank (53L) in my 1998 Lantra Sportswagon SE (which is for sale), so I wanted something that would give me even better economy and still be really fun to drive. And because I can't afford a merc. i30 crdi it was!
Good idea about the wheels too... I want something nice looking, and I will eventually move up to 17"s.

welcome aboard.

Thanks mate :)

Bob Jane is absloutely the best place to go for mags.
Best range and prices and easier to talk to than some of the cheaper direct importers if you have a problem.

I'd have gone for the SLX, but I couldn't get an SLX manual. Not sure if its the same for the hatchback, but the my11 wagon only comes in Auto for the SLX and sportswagon.
I absolutely NEED a manual... and I love it.

I got my rims/tyres from Bob-Jane as well.  Purely for the range and deals they offer.
