very nice color.   i notice you've got reverse sensors on your cw. are they expensive to have fitted?

Thanks, I had ordered a "Sky Blue" however the colour changed with the intro of the MY11. It was a pleasant surprise along with the change in wheel colour.
Rear parking sensors are standard on the Australian SLX.

A very distinctive vehicle .. well done :D

That is an unusual colour and the tinted windows tie in nicely with the bronze alloys...

Hi and welcome de Bounce

Given the heat in your neck of the woods I take it the lighter blue may keep the inside cooler
  • 1.4 Petrol Active I'm no expert, so please correct me if

I just like light blue.
It should reflect the heat better and appear to stay cleaner for longer.

The i30 shares the household with my other toy

Nice "toy"..

That is a bit spooky  From the photos the colours are very similar (that would make my wife happy - she has a real thing about everything matching )

The soft top looks so cool.

Not much call for these in UK unless you want to get a shower while driving

Hi debounce and welcome.
What area of Oz are you in.
Also great to see a motorkhana on something other than bitumen.
I gave them away when the grass ones seemed to fade away. Have they made a comeback? I'd love to have a go in my i30.

Thanks again for the warm welcome and the compliments.

We have found a name for our i30 cw 'The Tardis'
I'll try and get some photos this weekend of the i30 and MX5 together for a colour comparison.

Unfortunately dirt and grass Motorkhana's appear to be a unique feature of the Victorian (Australia) Motorkhana scene. I'll start another thread regarding Motorkhana to keep this thread on topic.

It is a stock standard NB, would have loved a SE or SP
It goes hard enough around the track!

Just had the 1000km service done with no mechanical issues so far.
Found a nail in the tyre though, not a good omen!

Had the service centre disable the Follow me Home lights.
With the light switch in the on position, the lights go off when the ignition is turned off and on when the ignition is tuned on.

Also asked about 2 stage unlock (1 press drivers door unlocks, 2nd press all doors unlock) appears this is not an option.

Does anyone have a list of options the service centre can set?
