I have a 2018 I30, head unit looks similar to this:

The issue is that overnight, the unit loses the time, and resets it. So the time is always wrong. Everything else on it works fine.

Any ideas?

Bought my 2018 i30 in Australia recently.  I have the same head unit and the same issue.  Checked and replaced fuses, checked battery etc.  Factory reset the head unit but no luck.

Other than the time resetting to 12AM every time the car is off for more than 5 minutes, it works perfectly.  Remembers all radio stations and other settings.

Version details are as pictured.  Was hoping to find a software update file for this Non-navigation head unit but there's nothing in the Display Audio updates section on Hyundai Website for car older than 2019 and nothing on Archive.org .  Not sure they ever released an update for this head unit.  Tempted to take it to the dealership but I usually connect it to Android Auto and that shows the time correctly.  Still a nuisance.

Anyone have any tips on a software update for this model head unit?
