I run a 2014 crdi 1.6. I am in the UK
The thermostat needs replacing .

In looking for a new one I notice there are thermostats with different temperature settings.

For example one supplier recommends a replacement thermostat set at 82 degrees, while another is suggesting a 90 degree one.

I would have thought 90 degrees was the goto temperature,  but I am now wondering what is the correct setting.

Does anyone know?
Many thanks

Have you tried www.partsouq.com?

Search using the VIN number of your car, then you can find the Hyundai part number. If you then search using the part number you can check if what you're being offered is a direct equivalent. It may not specify the operating temperature, but if you ask the supplier if it's equivalent to the Hyundai part, it should be suitable. You might find a genuine Hyundai part online at reasonable price.
