Have been a forum browser a few times before I registered. Now I can contribute to the knowledge base,

I am not a car mechanic though I am happy to give things a go.

So far I have done (on my 61 plate FD Hatch)
F+R brake discs and pads
Hand brake shoes
Hand brake adjustment
Nearside F damper and coil
Inner tie rods L+R
Currently have the subframe off for steering rack replacement which is including full tie rods and roll stop/engine mounts and one ball joint boot as i tore it splitting the joint.
