I have a
2019 i30 yes! plus.
I am not sure whether anyone has had such a problem. When I turn on the car, the turn signals function normally without an issue. However, after a certain amount of drive time (let's say 20-30 mins), the left turn signal stops working for a while (10-15 mins) and then comes back on like there was no problem. The hazards or the key lock signals function without an issue. They always work.
The frequency becomes shorter with the prolonged drive. For example, 30 minutes on, 15 minutes off, 20 minutes on, 15 minutes off, 10 minutes on, 15 minutes off, and so on.
I believe it is a thermal issue, that the board elements heat up and stop working until they cool down again, but I wanted to ask the i30 owners if it is a known issue.
