Hello,

I have a 2010 Hyundai i30 CRDi 1.6 diesel with an oil leak I’m trying to diagnose. Oil is collecting in the small recess around one fuel injector, on the rocker cover—specifically pooling in one injector well  - the other three have no leaks (see attached photo).

Here’s what I’ve done so far:
  • Replaced the rocker cover gasket (to rule out a faulty seal).
  • Replaced all o-rings in the rocker cover.
  • Installed new o-rings on all four fuel injectors.
Despite this, the oil leak continues in the same area - the left hand injector recess There’s no visible oil coming from obvious spots like the filler cap or camshaft seal. Rocker cover bolts were torqued to spec.

Before I remove the rocker cover again, any suggestions on what else to check?

Cheers in advance.
