I’m having trouble locating the oil level sensor on my 2011 Hyundai i30 1.6 CRDi (diesel). I’ve been experiencing a constant amber oil light on the dash — not the red oil pressure light, just the orange one.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
Changed the engine oil and filter with the correct 5W-30 C3 spec
Checked and topped up oil to ensure it’s at the proper level
Tried resetting the service light via ignition cycles - comes back after ~30 miles or so
Looked all around the oil pan/sump for the oil level sensor and its connector, but I can’t find it anywhere
From what I’ve researched, this sensor should be a small 2- or 3-bolt rectangular sensor with a plug, mounted on the side or bottom of the sump — but on my car, I see no such thing.
I’ve removed the undertray and checked all around the bottom of the engine. Either it’s hidden somewhere weird, or my model doesn’t even use a traditional oil level sensor?

Exactly where this sensor is located?
I found a part matching "6PR 009 622-121" that says its for my make / model of cat but no luck trying to find it myslef.
Whether the 1.6 CRDi even uses an external level sensor, or if it's built into something else (like the pressure sensor or oil pan)?
