Hi everyone,
I’m experiencing an issue with my 2018 Hyundai i30 Wagon (1.6 CRDi, 110hp, DCT, PDE model) and could use some advice. The car often runs unevenly or hesitates/stutters around 2000-2300 RPM. If I slightly increase or decrease speed, the issue disappears immediately but returns quickly. Sometimes, Randomly I can drive 200-300 km without any problems at all.
Background:
Bought the car used at 116,000 km.

The issue started shortly after purchase.

Initially, using fuel additives resolved the problem completely after ~2000 km.

Now at 132,000 km, the issue has returned despite using additives with nearly every tank.

Recently serviced: oil, oil filter, air filter, and fuel filter replaced, but no improvement.

OBD Observations:
I’ve used an OBD scanner and noticed the rough running coincides with an uneven EGR actuator graph, see attached: ns. Based on this, I suspect an EGR valve issue, but I’m not knowledgeable about cars.
Questions:
Could this be an EGR-related problem, or is something else causing the hesitation?

Any suggestions for diagnosing or fixing this?

Has anyone experienced similar issues with an i30 CRDi?

Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
