Does it still come in a "triangular" bottle?

In my whisky supping youth I found it quite likeable, and cheap. Then again, it was from my fathers drinks cabinet  :-[ from which all liquids were likeable, and cheap ;)

Its made by Haig, & here's Wiki's take on it Robert Haig was censured by his church elders for operating a still upon the Sabbath in 1655. This is the oldest known reference to a whisky distillery. His descendants operated distilleries in England, Ireland and Scotland. John Jameson, the founder of Jameson Irish whiskey, married one of them, Margaret Haig. John Haig opened the Cameron Bridge distillery in Windygates in 1824 and this was the first to produce grain whisky. His cousin, Robert Stein, created the first continuous still while his son, also called John, improved output by means of the then new practice of blending. The distinctive dimpled bottle was then introduced in the 1890s. This bottle became so well-known and important to the brand that it was registered as a trademark in the USA in 1958 by Julius Lunsford.[1]

The family business was subsequently merged into United Distillers and Vintners (UDV) and then into the larger conglomerate Diageo

Aha, tis the best known cure for man-flu my friend

Ingredients
1 x large mug, usually the one you drink tea or coffee from, you know the biggest one you have!
1 x bottle blended whisky of your choosing
1 x kettle of water
1 x jar clear honey

Instructions

1.  Boil kettle
2.  Pour whisky into mug to between 1/3 and 1/2 full.
3.  Add two generous teaspoons of clear honey.
4.  Pour on hot water and stir.
5.  Drink
6.  If you do not feel appreciably better, make another one, a heavy dose of man-flu can empty one bottle of whisky, but the result is always a much better feeling person the next day!

7.  If perchance the really heavy dose of man-flu has resulted in the emptying of said bottle, two tins of Irn Bru may be required to aid rehydration the next day

Port is good.
I do like my rum.
Also cold beer. Have developed a taste for pale ale a nice example of which is made by Coopers here in Australia but my favouite is Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale, brewed in a 200 year old brewery in Nova Scotia and unfortunately you can only get it in Canada.
Oh! Wait!

I'll be there soon for four weeks.     :P
