The town of Trundle, with a population of about 380, is seeking people from from all over Australia to fill six homes, some of which have been vacant for years as the region suffered a long and devastating drought.

Interesting story Lester (surprised to read only 215 miles from Sydney - not really that far) I expected it to be like 500 miles from anywhere... (never heard of that place before)

theres a few places in oz that have offered land for sale at $1 for a block of land,it builds the towns population and economy.

Yeah. They did it out at Pittsworth on the Darling Downs a couple of years ago. BUt Pittsworth is a bit closer to somewhere (anywhere)
