I removed the Hyundai lettering by hand but kept the H badges and i30. I found it adds to the intrigue and makes people look closer and ask questions.
Removed all dealer stickers too, it makes me wonder why 4x4 owners should spend 1000s to carry adverts for a garage on the spare wheel.

    I've removed the 'Trophy' badge off the back of my cw ... how easy was that ?  with a little bit of fishing line ...... Looks great now

I removed the dealers and also the Hyundai 5 year warranty sticker as soon as I got home and debadged the metal Hyundai and i30 badges within a week using dental floss and not fishing line.

I'm certainly not a badge snob as it's still got the big H in the middle of the grill, and the rear hatch.

I'm perfectly happy to fly the Hyundai flag but I just think the back of my car looks that much cleaner

Is there an easy solution to removing the 'Trophy' badge good people ? please.

if its a proper badge... then use fishing line slide it under and use it like a knife, move it back and forth and it cuts the double sided tape... then use kero to remove the residue, and give it a wax after

Taking all the badges off makes the car too bland.

In my opinion, the badges enhance its appearance

  I didn't mean to disparage or offend any members with my remarks about badgesnobs and I wasn't referring to any of the Hyundai i30 clan here sorry good people for any misunderstanding and thank you agentr31 for your good advice on removing badge stickers  and I thought .... maybe go the whole and take off the big H at the back above the tailgate latch But then found out this is not just glued on but has two drilled holes in to the door ... so I duly re-glued the big H back ...cheers good people

Personally, I'd leave the Big H on both the back and the front.

De badged this one and my last one, but that's down to personal taste in the pursuit to have smoother lines. I figure everyone should know what i30s look like by now. At the very least the 'Hyundai' lettering at the back left should be removed. Bit of an overkill when there is already a company logo.

i originally removed the badges only because it was p-ing me off washing around them with a soft toothbrush.    i didn't want to scratch my car.    but mmmm smooth.

The real story:
The de-badging thing started from Greece, where cars with big engines are very expensive and so are taxes.

Over here, you debadge your humble 1.000 cc car for two reasons:

1) After replacement of your 1.000 cc engine with a 2.000 cc one, so you can get away of the taxes.
2) After replacement of your girlfriend (she run away with the previous mentioned guy) so another girl might believe that you're driving a 2.000 cc car.
