i found this out at the petrol station one afternoon. :-[i locked the car to go in and pay for fuel,came out to fill the washer bottle. i reached in and pulled the bonnet catch an the horn started going off.

well locked with the remote... obviously it works when the car is running

My brother reckons his used to go off while he was cleaning it His alarm that is....
Ok this is my updateWhilst out this pm sitting in the car I removed the key from the ignition switch.Locked all doors with remote.Could not open door as the deadlocks had activated.Door would not open by pressing the switch on arm rest.ConclusionOnce my car is locked via the remote the doors will not open by pulling the door lever or by pressing the switch on the arm rest.So even if window is open the only way into the car would be to crawl thro' the window
