Wrong character set on radio display

It is a bit irritating to see that there are still problems to use the correct character set on displays. The correct abbreviation for the radio station should be "NRK ØSTF" not "NRK ùSTF" as the i30 displays  :'(

Yes, I do know that we are a bit difficult here up in the Nordic countries, but I still think it should be possible to display our characters Æ - Ø - Å correct on the display  :mad:

What can be done with this? Change radio station  :question:

Get the dealer to check you have the latest radio firmware, it's probably the only (slim) hope of getting this fixed.

I recently read that certain smartphones sold in Norway had to be upgraded due to the missing characters.

It may not be so simple to get the same update to your radio firmware, but as Lorian says it's worth a shot.
