I saw this on Breakfast during the week, just useless unless you are always in a main city, Quentin Wilson was extolling the virtues of electric vehicles on telly this morning, he forgets that large swathes of people live in the countryside!

Lets face it. Electric cars will never work. If every one went out and purchased one the whole country would come to a standstill. Even if batt tec got 100% better than today it still would not work. And just how are the power companies going to cope with 20-25 million cars all plugged in at the same time  :rofl:

I really enjoyed that thanks Lester...I could relate to some of that :goodjob:

Sometimes when we go out to tea in Burnie it is 50kms back home and my Trip Computer says 50kms fuel left so I go the nice flat scenic drive and run on electric as much as possible at 60 or 70 kph and get home with about 20 kms to spare  :mrgreen:
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)
