Also heard that the i30 models coming out in Aug with ESP as standard will have a $900.00 price increase - whether thats true or not we will see.

My dealer told me a couple of weeks ago that my SLX CRDi Protectz Pack would probably cost another $500 which would line up with what you are saying.

Don't happen to know if it will meet Euro IV+ emissions standards do you? A number of the i30's competitors already do.

I can definately confirm all of that - I finally got onto a dealer who would help me - thanks in part to bdennis. My dealer happened to be my local dealer who was able to send me the Hyundai Manufacturers release which stipulated all of this. As a result I was able to finally order my Midnight Blue SLX diesel.....   HooRay...............

Did they say whether the list price is being changed as a result of the ESP and CC being standard?

I don't have the info on me, but I think it was going up around 500 bucks....  But that price includes the Protectz pack and cruise control... Well worth it in my books...

No question - I ordered mine with aftermarket CC ($800) and Protectz Pak ($990).  Could be an interesting renegotiation of the price when it finally arrives.

Had a call from my dealer on friday asking if i would like to take deliver on an SX diesel instead of the SLX with Protecz esp etc which is still 4weeks + away, he happened to mention that the SX now had ESP without the Protecz pack added in and this was on a new delivery they had just got in.

So that would comfirm it for anyone wondering about that.

I've ordered my SLX CRDi in June, and am still waiting for it to arrive. Spoke to Hyundai Oz (since the dealer didnt know what was going on), and he said that it 'should' have CC.  So what does that mean... I pay the old price - ie: the one when I ordered the car with the Protectz pack... but get the 'CC + ESP standard model' anyways? I would be very happy to get the CC... but hey.. I've been waiting 11 weeks already! I just want my car!
