G'day.
 
I'm from Melbourne. Had my i30 diesel 1.6 for about 2 years now. Been running great and loved it, except I got into an accident a few weeks ago!!! My first accident and I happened to hit a guy with a towbar which stuffed up my radiator, air con, bonnet.

Had a few nice mods done to it. Simple, yet elegant. Have to do the front mods again since they were all destroyed :(

Won't be getting my car back for about 2 weeks

Welcome Alucard... Not good mate.. Hope they fix it good as new.. (look forward to some pix when it is all back together again)  Those bloody towbars can do a lot of damage  :eek: Was it a big 4WD?

I had a M8 with a Panel Beating shop in Ulverstone Tas who put up a sign "Have a great Christmas and a Smashing New Year" ... not everyone thought it was funny.. (He doesn't put it up any more  :-[)

Can't fit one to my Hybrid and don't think Trish wants one on the CW but they are good for that purpose  :goodjob:

My neighbour backed into my other car ('93 Jackaroo) which still had the 4wd hitch still fitted.  They were in a fairly new Prado.  I was in the back yard and heard a mighty bang and the tinkling of broken glass.  Went out to see what had happened, their rear bumper bar was torn, smashed rear brake lights, and some other cosmetic damage. All I had was a slight tear to the spare wheel cover (it is a Ricky Ponting one I got for $5 from SuperCheap). From now on, I'll leave the hitch on, just in case somebody else decides to do some "touch parking".

To be honest I feel a bit sorry for him.. he was a bit of a hot head in his younger days and sometimes has a bit of trouble controlling his temper.. but on his day he is an awesome batsman and fielder. Hope people remember that when he retires.. :confused:
