I'm putting my money on it being a test mule for the next gen of the GC.

As to whether it gets the V8 who knows, but I'm sure alot would like it too.

Hyundai have pretty much always said that the next gen GC would come in RHD too, but have always been adamant that the current gen would not.........

I find the comment about it being hot weather testing a bit strange seeing as the shots are taken at the top of Mt Hotham (a ski resort in our winter for our O/S brethren) with current temps in the high teens low 20s C.
