Oh Hi All !

Thanks for the warm welcome !

I have chosen a Hyper Silver 2.0 Litre Petrol Automatic Trophy Edition.  The Auto is mainly as my wife would be driving it more than me, and she cant drive a manual  :rolleyes:

otherwise, I read so many great things about the Diesel Manual, but anyway the car shall look awesome coz of the alloys n all !!

Thanks again every one !

- Pranav (Bairnsdale, Australia)

I loved the spaces in the car, so many little pockets + that power point in the boot for a fridge, won my heart.

I could test drive only a 2 ltr hatch however, and drive was good...zipped to 100 kmph but yeah, am downsizing from a Commodore (3.8 lts) so might take some time to settle in !

I am hoping less frequent trips to the gas stations !  :scared:

hheehe...really excited to get the car delivered.

Kind regards - Pranav

Hi and welcome. My recent purchase is a petrol auto and Hyper Silver, but the similarities end there (SR hatch).
Yours sounds awsome.
I recently had a Commodore SV6 for about 9 days and the most notable difference is the dimensions for parking. I suppose it did have more grunt but it was thirsty!

Hi Pranav and welcome,

I have the exact same vehicle model and colour, I've posted my opinions with it after 8 months of driving and 15000km travelled and serviced.

It may be of interest to you ? I think Admin have located it in 'Testimonial's' have a gander if you can wish.

Welcome aboard Pranav. I too have the CW, but mine is a diesel.  I may have done a few foolish things in my life ( :evil:) but buying the i30CW was not one of them. I'm sure you fall in love with your new baby very quickly, like all of us have done.

By the way, Pranav, where are you from?

Hi Everyone !

You wont believe, it's been 5 weeks waiting for the car...and it now finally comes this Saturday ! phew.

The dealer promised 2 weeks, so I had sold my old car but then I screamed at the dealer and demanded a courtesy car for their stupidity.

They did ! a small Getz however !  :P

Am gonna put pictures as soon as I can, the only accesories I am thinking to get are:-

* Chrome handle covers
* Mud flaps: Question here, if I buy the genuine ones, can i screw them myself ?
* Floor mats
* Wind visors

The car comes with some sort of a graphite tint already from the dealer.

Voo hoo ! cant wait !

Kind regards,

Pranav

Pranav, my advice is to buy genuine mud flaps, they fit straight on using the existing screws.
