Hi All, My name is Brett from Sydney and I am currently waiting for my new i30CW SX CRDI which was ordered on 4 May 2011. I ordered it with Drving Lights and Cruise Control and Alloys. The original expected delivery date was end of June 2011. Just found out from my leasing provider that the date has blown out till early August 2011... Talk about making me suffer.....ahhhhh... but cant wait to get my hands on it...Great site lots of helpful information...Cheers Bretto.

Same as the wife's car (TrishCW on here) but with the diesel motor (great choice) 

Assume it's a manual in which case you will most likely get a 6 speed box and slightly uprated motor 

We had a Diesel Hatch for two and a half years before trading it on a Hybrid Camry

Diesel apparently handles the 4 speed auto better than the Petrol 2.0 does.. There is a small possibility that you might get an uprated Auto Box.. fingers crossed ( wonder if Reecho would know ??)

Not sure about the latest specs only that it should have the bluetooth. Any further info about what I should expect in the latest model would be helpful. It will interesting to see the build date after waiting so long. another day down lol...sooo many more to go...

Hi All,
Thanks again for all your welcomes. Just heard from the Leasing contact and she has heard from Suttons Hyundai with another expected delivery date of the vessel arriving on 13 July 2011 with a delivery after that of between 10-14 days...not sure if thats working days or normal days. ahhhhh lol I will keep you all updated.

  Oh well just heard from the leasing company and low and behold the ship didn't arrive on 13 July 2011 nor did the car lol. Suttons Hyundai have now said it could arrive this week (Maybe) and pending any further delays I may have it by 2 August 2011. Well I am not holding my breath... I feel like a little kid who missed Santa a number of times in the last few months...lol.... Will let you know the next update on the delivery date....enjoying Reading everyone else getting their new car lol...This is a great forum...

Does it has some special specifications taking such a long time ?
What about ask the dealer for some compensation, like free maintenance coupon...etc.
