Hi, Greg in Queensland Australia with a question about my 2009 i30 hatchback.

Can anyone help with any information about why it seems the audible warning noise for the flasher/indicator seems to be very quite? Is this something that can be changed with a volume control within the settings by either myself or a dealer (preferably me).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Greg.

Hi Greg and Welcome..

The dealer may be able to adjust it as a warranty fix .. never thought of asking when I had my 2008 CRDi (which also had a very quiet indicator noise) Wife used to sometimes have a go at me for not indicating when I was  :whistler:

Strange thing is she now has a MY11 i30 CW and that has quite noisy indicators

Today I noticed by indicator had not cancelled when I'd turned left, shallow turn, and I only realised the indicator was still blinking left from the light on the dash.

So yes, mine is low noise, although I must say I'd never noticed this before.

The i30 had much quieter flasher unit than the i20 or ix20!
