[Ugly Mongrel]

I have an iPod in my car so the USB power isn't available for charging my mobile phone. I used to leave it sitting in the tray in front of the gear lever, but not anymore.

I performed this quick little mod recently while I had the radio fascia out to fix a small problem. I have cabled the power lead up behind the storage compartment above the ash tray. I needed to drill a small hole in the back of the storage compartment to get the power cable through.

 I now store and charge my mobile phone inside the compartment. Neat and tidy and out of sight.
