it is rainy now, so it is pointless to wash a car as it will get dirty the moment it leaves a car wash (I have told about my experience during a recent trip to Finland, when I washed my car twice for two days)

Today I have become a happy owner of the following gizmos:  :)
1. i30ownersclub sticker (I spent almost two hours in a local post office before I got my parcel

2. dashboard rubber mat with KIA logo

3. Hyundai/KIA door's loop cover (81353 3M000 - part number)

4. ashtray with led light powered by solar battery (as I do not smoke I'll use it as a litter bin)

5. new set of rubber mats (I got it by supplier's mistake as I ordered a mat for a boot)

another photos of mesh in better quality

Someone's going to steal you car for sure now you've got a Solar powered LED ashtray light.

Good photos Misha & just in time for your trip. Why 2 hours at the post office

Why 2 hours at the post office
there was only one operator, who worked so slow and many people in a queue

Very good Misha  :goodjob: Haven't seen door look covers before
well I didn't realize any exists before I came across an owner's review of new Cee'd, who had installed them and taken photos. I liked an idea and ordered 4 of them; each cost me 63 rub (2 USD roughly).

Thanks Misha I wonder whether they are available for the i30 or Camry? I'll have to do a search  :winker:

postage fee from Russia to Australia:
EMS - 2505 rub (1kg) which is 80 USD
air mail - 1063 rub, which is 33.5 USD
so a postage from USA to Australia is cheaper  :undecided:

what can it be?

Found this plug behind trunk's lining, on the right side. May it be a part of boot's power socket wiring, which is not available for the cars sold in Russia?

I think I'll know it soon enough, when I get a power socket.
does new i30 come with the power socket in its boot? do you have one in yours?

The Older FD hatch didn't have one but the CW did .. I think without checking that the new model hatch does but need someone like Alan or another new owner to confirm,,,

I reckon a schematic of new i30 might help as these two cars are almost identical  :undecided: (check "Boot dimensions" topic out)

I already have, but don't assume similarities in wiring, could be dangerous.

BTW, please take care on the road to Finland.
