Looks good Misha.   :goodjob: :goodjob:

Think the steering wheel has the same functions as my i40??

Audio controls on left arm, with phone controls down left side of lower spine, cruise control and speed limiter controls on right arm with trip and display controls down the right side of lower spine.  It actually all works very well, very intuitive :goodjob:

yes, it is totally similar to your one I reckon.
Mine, actually, has one more feature in addition - on the right hand side, the button which is situated on the left from Cancel Button - it changes the steering wheel force: Comfort, Sport and Normal (before setting off I had supposed to test if Sport is more preferable for the high speeds as it is said to be, but I forgot   :()

Misha - you need to make a "lens hood" for your car-cam. The reflections of the dashboard are spoiling the pictures.

Are you able to buy Toshiba HD TV's in Russia in order to obtain the recommended styrofoam blocks?

Did you used to be an undertaker Misha... :whistler: Mind you it is well finished underneath... :goodjob:

The dash is nicer than my first impression... It is a lovely motor (as our treasured UK members would say)  :happydance:

Do you like the way I managed to get on so many members good sides in the one sentence?  :snigger:

All those photos of the underside of the car encouraged me to have a grovel under my new i30. I can confirm the they are so far as I can see absolutely identical. All that plastic streamlining under the car is quite impressive. I suppose it makes quite a difference to the air resistance (CD).

it is a bag with coffee beans - an air freshener

So far, so good.

I have had 1600 km on clock and the car hasn't let me down yet, though there have been some minor misunderstandings (here I mean emergency lights, which I haven't fixed up yet, but I'm going to sort it out as soon as I'm in service to install parking sensors).
Yesterday in the afternoon I discovered a level of anti-freeze had lowered to a half-full (it had been almost full two days before, when I checked it while in Finland), so I replenished it today in the morning  (I had to fill a tank of my i30 twice for 2 years).
Black color as well as any dark one is not an ideal for Russian and Saint-Petersburg's climate in particular as a slight dust is seen, so more visits to a car wash.

It is time set money aside for a set of winter wheels: tires + rims, I reckon I would need 1200 USD roughly, depends on size and brand.
I think to begin filling my car with 95 petrol isntead of 92 I am used to driving on now: a petrol is deemed to have lower consumption and better performance, those its an average price per liter is 1 USD here

Misha, great that all is going well and that you're happy with it.
I think as far as the higher octane fuel goes, my opinion is that it is beneficial if used on a regular basis, although no doubt others may think differently.
My daughter has done over 3,000 kms in her new Mazda 3 now, all on Premium ULP (98 octane) and she is getting 7.5 l/100 kms in mixed driving when the official figure is 7.8 so she's happy with that.

what is its price there?
a cost of 98 petrol in Russia varies from 35 rub (1.2 USD roughly) to 48 rub (1.2 Euro roughly)
95 - 29 rub to 32 rub

This is all very interesting, high octane fuels have a slower burning rate, to provide a longer heating process in the cylinder and consequently, more power. Modern engines classified as "unleaded" engines are supposed to be designed to run on standard unleaded fuel, so apart from eliminating toxic lead, we still have a standard / super fuel situation, which suits the petrol companies just fine.  :fum:

is there the prices per one liter?  :undecided:

I wonder how much does any of you spend on petrol per month?

I have 4 fuelings per month on average, each costs me 800 rub roughly (26 USD): I typically fill 30-35 liters and have hardly driven with an empty tank (I tend to fill my tank up as soon as a niddle approaches one quarter)

Yes, they are shown in cents so 150.00 = $1.50.
I was doing 1,000 kms per week but now I only do about 1,000 kms per fortnight so my fuel costs have halved.
