Here in the Uk we don't need to consider tinting to keep the car cool as we never seem to get more than 2 days of sunshine together.
I believe it is quite a big job to remove the old tint and so it doesn't surprise me they are quoting nearly $600. Our original hatch was about $300 from extreem tinting in 2008 and the CW was a little more ($350 from memory earlier this year)
My sister put a box in my boot and somehow it's scratched the rear tint. Unless I just get the back replaced? TAC have an interest free payment system, so might do that over the course of 12 months.

Does anyone have pics of their cars with tinting done?
Has anyone on here actually try the steam method?
