Is it normal with that kind of weather in your summers.

Obviously, there has always been exceptions but Perth , Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane (Capital cities of some of our larger states have had bad hail damage events in the case of Melbourne, several I think) There were 9 cars damaged at one house this time It is cyclone season in the more northly States.. So that is not so unusual...
surferdude,Quite normal for Queensland, but unusual for the southern states, same thing happening in South Australia, although no damage as yet.
I think they mean the Tasman sea .. forecasts for Tassie are ok and Radar is clear
My synoptic chart shows it to be quite cool in the mid to upper regions with the possibility of frost on the extremities (tips). But following Christmas, there is plenty of constant warm air blowing up from the south which is quite normal for this time of year. The forecast for tomorrow is for much of the same with the possibility of some follow-through from the lower regions. Some dampness during the night is likely and come morning it is expected that the wind will subside considerably. What the weather is like outside, I have absolutely no idea.
Just seen the news. Today is the warmest 26/12 ever in Denmark since they started to measure the temperature in 1874 We have had 11 degrees C today Right now there is 9,4 degree C outside, and it is allmost 9 o'clock in the evening
I actually like this kind of winther
at the moment we have 19c and 60% humidity,we are looking at a top of 26c today and the remainder of the week should be in the mid 30's. very tropical weather.

Aargh, shit, the christmas vacation is too short But don't forget the massive, damaging hailstorm they had on Christmas Day.There's a saying all Aussies use in relation to Melbourne weather..........If you don't like the weather, wait a minute.
