I declared the lowest price I am ready to sell my i30 and I'm to visit trade-in diagnostic on Tuesday next week, otherwise I think I may sell my i30 in a market without pointing those paint defect out to a new buyer (they are very tiny and hard to spot)  I would start from 500.000 rub (15300USD roughly) and would be ready to make a discount (460.000 - 480.000 rub - my final price; 450.000rub/13700USD - for trade-in)

The advantages of Astra Cosmo:
- rear parking sensors
- cruise-control
- higher clearance (160mm)
- lower engine metal plate protection 
- two zone climate control
- an overall dimensions are bigger
- steering wheel with heating system
- electric parking brake
- 6AT
 
The disadvantages:
- 4 airbags
- 17" alloy wheels (I would prefer 16" instead)
- no USB port
- in my opinion, a big gap between bonnet and bumper (about 5mm I reckon)
- it is not i30 

What about warranty. I nearly bought a "Holden Camira" years ago, which shared the Opel engine I believe. They turned out to be the biggest piece of **** ever. Don't do it Misha

the warranty is said to be 3 years as well as Hyundai's one.
This Opel Astra is being assembled in Russia, Saint-Petersburg precisely, I have passed by GM's factory a few times by bicycle, actually, it is placed a road across Toyota factory, where Camry is built.
Anyway I'm not going to own new Opel (if it is gonna be Opel in the end) forever, just one or two years until Hyundai lowers its prices for either new Hyundai i30 or Hyundai ix35.

+ I have got a phone call from a bank - my car credit/loan is approved (11.5% annualy, 3 years)

- it promises to be a long day at the airport (a few delays, one broken aircraft, VIP flights due to international forum, that is to be held in our city)

+/-  the prices have been announced for new KIA Cee'd and they proved to be significantly lower as compared with new Hyundai i30

Depends on cool down clauses etc, also if it is subject to acceptable finance (to the vendor) or acceptable trade (to the vendor), you can basically walk for nothing.

well I had read about Astra problems in the web when you wrote it, as I had done when I was going to buy Hyundai i30

+ have been in KIA dealer's showroom, where I was led to a backyard and was allowed to study new Cee'd (no cars in a showrooms before 1 July).
- it turned out to be impossible to compose preliminary contract before 1 July, though there are some cars available in Luxe specification, but in black colour.

- no refund given, but it is against Russian laws anyway, no matter what is written in a contract  (anyway that was an expensive lesson for me for the future)
 + one thing I know for sure now - I will never, ever step over a threshold of RRT-motors showroom

well I signed a preliminary agreement last week and paid 10000 rub in order to reserve a car, when I came there this week with intention to eliminate  a mentioned contract I was said that I wouldn't get my money back and my copy of preliminary agreement would be withdrawn by dealer and I would get a paper in turn . That is what they did

+ new Cee'd has been reserved today. This time a dealer is well known to me as well as me is well known to it as I have bought two cars from them. (preliminary agreement signed, a deposit is 5000 rub).  VIN is written down
