I like the Safari Suit, Gonz.   :whistler:

Actually, it does look pretty comfy for the tropics.  Do you remember 'Drabs, Gonz?  I used to wear them fairly regularly in the RAAF.

Do I remember drabs??? I was RAAF News poster boy for the last day of authorised wearing. I was notorious for wearing it year-round! :D

I can smell the brylcreem on their hair from here, well on what hair they do have, a few No.1's there.

RAF/RAAF aka 'The Brylcreem Boys.'   :happydance: Right Gonz ???

By crikey the young Flying Officer in the middle of the photo, with the most hair and waving ye olde akubra slouch hat is a dead ringer for Steve Smith, Australian Cricket Capitano, you reckon? :undecided:

Going on a Cruise ship ( a bit bigger than a Sloop ) in two weeks time from Brisbane with my Wife ,Daughter and my two adult grandsons .Will be following the Australian coast up north as far as Cairns for seven days, hooray,  :happydance:  lots of food ( bang goes the healthy eating ). The last cruise was on the P&O Oriana  31 years ago to the Pacific Islands, had a great time on that one. Have heard mixed reactions about the modern day cruises but the wife and I plus my daughter and grandsons  intend to have a great time no matter what. Got my bags packed, sea sick pills ,ear plugs &  floaties ready.  :goodjob2:

Hope you're not going on this cruise ship, John...  :whistler:

:link: Gastro outbreak on Diamond Princess cruise ship in Sydney | Food poisoning

No not that one but the Sea Princess. To be honest Rusty I read about that and other Cruise ships ,Hopefully the cruise company learnt a lesson.  Same as Gastro it only takes one passenger to start spreading it around. Going to take plenty of hand sanitizor and Glen 20 spray and anyone who comes near me is going to get a squirt,  and just hope for the best. My brother went on the same cruise as we are doing the other month and said the crew kept changing the buffet food if it had been there a while. He said they  never stopped cleaning and spraying disinfectant around the ship and every one had to use hand cleaner before entering the dining areas. As I said will just hope for the best. Copped a bad case of flu on a plane trip a while ago , knew I would, the guy sitting opposite never stopped coughing and spluttering from Adelaide to the Gold Coast.  :(

Oh yes, if this trip goes ok I hope to book up next year for the New Zealand Cruise it looks fantastic. I think we have to have a passport to go there now , I don't think we used to years ago.
