I think it's all about greed Brian. I thank the supermarkets for forcing the prices downwards closer to where they should be
Noticed a couple of stations in my area are now doing ULP for 89.9p/l.I saw a graph in the paper On Friday, when a barrel was $75 we were being charged 89.9, when it hit $145/barrel we were on 126.9p/l and now it is $48/barrel we are back to 89.9.Try as I might I can't find the linear relationship between the two, I guess they just make it up as they go along
THANK the supermarkets?

They only reduce them when the giant supermarkets decide on a price war. Without the likes of Tesco, Asda (Walmart) and Sainsburys we would still be over £1.25 a litre.. because of the war in the last month (started by Asda I believe) it's now down to £1.06
Melbourne unleaded hit $1.07.9 on news tonight, rumored to go under $1... but they were telling us it was going over $2 not long ago i wish the critics would make up there minds... lol
I think it will come down more. If Unleaded gets down to $1 across the board I predict Diesel will eventually come down to around $1.20 but probably neither will stay down for long...
Diesel at Tesco 1 hour ago was £1.049/litre.
