Plus just before they are due to go home you should fill them up with red cordial,all the lollies with all the food colouring in them,them quickly give em back to their parents,it's called poetic justice

Today we accompanied my brother-in-law and his tribe on a drive. At a shop in a quiet town serving venison burgers, the kids (6,4 and 3) were their usual handful.
BIL to SIL: I've had enough - I think we should give them their tablets.
SIL: We've talked about this. They're already addicted to them!
BIL: I don't care. I need them to settle down and go quiet!
... out come 3 iPads 

 

My Mum said a lady with a pram got into the lift when she was out the other day. When she turned around the kid had a dummy in it's mouth much like maggie simpson and an ipad in it's hand. My kids are almost teenagers (well one of them is) and they don't own ipads

  Yes, but I'm an air con scrooge. Ours has been on 1 day this summer and it got cycled on when the room became unbearable then on for 10 minutes max before being cycled off again...........my electricity bill might kill me in that kind of heat

Me 2 Gonz, Generally don't use it even on a hot day. If I'm well dressed and going out to a function I use it then. Still living in the era b4 air cond. Remember the old quarter vents, really good on a hot day lots of air, bugs and if they were worn, they'd flip closed.

First 36 years of my working life I was like this,I have always worked outdoors, all labour intensive Jobs,sweated many buckets over the years,I've got to the age now where I like to be comfortable

Well, here it's below 0 most of the time. Today it was -5º C sunny but a very cold wind..

Was at the sea the other day. Some ice have been blown onshore in a storm some days ago.
