If I had Hemmi's photographic experience I would open a web site selling landscape pictures of Iceland and also get some into a few art gals and shops. I think you can even get pictures printed on canvas these days
I have 4 years to repair the car,
Quote from: Hemmi on June 07, 2010, 14:09:40I have 4 years to repair the car, Sorry to here of your mishap.Never heard of a deferred repair?Seems a lot (250000 isk (1320 gbp)) for a few scratches. Are they going to respray the whole front end or what do they intend to do?
know how it feels. had my scratch 30 mins after delivery. Hope your insurance will not go much up next year
Hi Hemmi...i'm sorry for the damage . This has also happened to me today on my way to work when a taxi driver wasn't paying attention and ran a little into my back. But mine is ok, you can hardly see a scratch...it was a very minor impact. The co-insurance fee is a fix sum or depends of the total damage in Iceland?
If you'll be takin' pics, take them from behind and that's it
Or just fix the damage in Photoshop
HemmiWe have places in the UK which do plastic welding, do they exist in Iceland??Just thinking that an invisible weld and spray would be a cheaper option than a complete new bumper and could possibly be the same cost to yourself as your isurance excess where you would not have to claim on your insurance and lose your 10% discount on all insurances next year
It doesn't matter if I fix this myself I will loose my 10%, my insurances will have to pay for the damage on the other car.

I'll buy your i30 Hemmi - how does 300000 isk sound?
