Yeah the oscillating fans now days a pretty crap, the legs/feet on my one are very flimsy.

Mine also felt like no air was being blown until I removed the fan guard...now she pumps  :D

This is today's project, sick of having to continually clean my tools work bench from wood shavings and sander dust,so thought I would make a movable work bench, which can be placed anywhere I want, not finished yet, will have the saw bench molded into it and my vice

Nice job Rick! Looks very sturdy.  :goodjob:

Trish bought me  a light weight prefab one which is still in a box as I need to sell some left over tiles to make room for it! :undecided:

Looks like time well spent rick. Great job. I wish I had a workshop like yours.

My project for today was to run an Ethernet cable from the modem in the lounge up to my study, where my desktop computer is located. At present it connects to the internet via a pair of mains powerline Ethernet adaptors but I am getting a download speed of only 55 to 65 Mb/s from my 100 Mb/s Virgin cable connection.

After drilling the wall to run the cable out of the lounge, up the outside wall then through the wall into the study, a cable length of 18 metres, I am now getting a speed of 102 to 106 Mb/s. My wife thinks I am nuts - and she is probably right.

I like to run an ethernet cable to my smart TV,but I'm too cheap to buy a 15 metre cable  and I'm not sure how to make one  :fum:

I bought a ready made cable costing £5.81 plus postage from here :-

:link: Cat 5.e (Ethernet) Cables

I had to drill a 20mm dia hole in the wall to pass the ends through - but it was much cheaper and more reliable than buying a 25 metre reel of cable, the plugs and Ethernet tool.

You must have a similar company in Aussieland. Like here..:link: Buy Cat 5E Cabling Solutions & Patch Panels from 4Cabling

My son made me two 20 metre cables a few years ago. Run them into the wall near the modem and up into the ceiling. One drops down to my wife's workstation,  the other into my daughter's bedroom.
 Cost zilch.

Nice Job! Does Sue use hers? I bought Trish one with its own stand but she hasn't used it for a while..  :undecided:

P.S. Both cars look great!

Both ours are filthy (waiting for a run of good weather) Road works everywhere and building works up our street = mud on the road + lots of rain!  :crazy1:
