I was driving back home from Uni, had the radio ON. The RJ said the weather in Darwin atm is a bit 'chilly' at 27C . The only reason it was that low was because it had just rained.

If 27C is chilly then 15C is freezing

My forecast is sunny for the next week, maybe some clouds.

I always find it interesting to compare UK weather with Icelandic weather,
If I get sun then you usually get clouds and rain, and if I get rain you get sun, it must have something to do with the low pressure system, I assume there is one now over or near the UK and I should have now the more favorable High pressure system with winds blowing from north, but clear skies.

My last summer was great, it was sunny and dry from June to august, wasn't UK wet at that time? Or is it just always raining in Manchester?

Got +2°C and it's raining. Happy to be above 0°C and not having more snow coming down again...
Winter is still on us, although snowbanks have gone down about 6 inches. Spring arrives few weeks later than usual - need to wait bit longer before switching to the summer tires  .

That's interesting Brian .. Not a lot of fog where I live (some parts of Tassie get a lot more than others) but seldom if ever can I remember Rain and Fog at the same time!!!

What's Scotland ever done to Iceland

It is currently 1C, snowing and had approx 4" snow last night, Kim is doing cartwheels since we had just potted all our spring/summer flowers and many roads are blocked including North, South and West of Aberdeen.  Global Warming my ass

For the first time since december (2½ months) the temperature has gone above freezing point, being currently 1°C. There are signs of thawing starting, the trees aren't covered with frost and snow any more. I will be barbecuing in no time... 

Temperature is 2°C, weak breeze and cloudy skies. Snow coverage in my back yard is still 50% - but hey, I am barbecuing tonight...

Perhaps now is not a good time to point out that in Melbourne we have not had a day below 20 degrees since the middle of December.  I think its up to about 120 days.

We've had nearly an inch of rain (more than 20mm) today but it is still not that cold about 16c at the moment (10.45pm)
