This summer is definitely not as good as years before, with endless sunshine and warmth.

So far it's been a mix of sun/rain/cloudy

Meteorologist here predict a more wet summer than usual, the good thing is that will keep the ash down, so the weather "gods" must have heard the farmers prayers

Lowpressure zones are closer than last years.

I've also seen news about not so great weather in other parts of Europe, flooding/storms etc...

At the moment it's 12°C and cloudy, and the forecast is not good, more cold and rain.

However, when the south and west parts are suffering, the north and east are getting perfect weather, 20°C and sunny, finally they get a decent summer :)

If I travel anything this summer I will definitively go north or east

Kingscliff is the Far North Coast, Dazz. (or the Tweed Coast if you're a local - I went to Tweed River High School with lots of "Kingscliffites"). And my Aunt & Uncle are there, too at South Kingscliff (ie south of Cudgen Creek).
Mid north coast is more like the Coffs Harbour area and south of there. Correct me if I'm wrong Opa1.

No it wasn't lying (ok, perhaps a bit...)
Even with full a/c, my router (a Siemens CL-110) is toasted. I have to shut it down during most of the day. I cannot either stay too long in front of the PC
