There has been a number of posting on the site of members either De Badging or considering De Badging their i30.

Now is your chance to vote as to whether you have/would consider De Badging or not your beloved i30.

I'm not for De Badging as I'm proud to show the motoring public I drive a Hyundai and an i30 at that!!!!

I wouldn't remove the emblem or model number, but if I was to debadge I would maybe just remove the word "hyundai" on the left as it is very big (and due to the logo we already know who made it)..

I voted no.. but I did remove the scummy SLX badges (they were just stickers ..don't think the new model gets them anymore)

Oh and I wont be pulling the badges off my Hybrid any time soon...

get a piece of fishing line about 30cm long and carefully drag it back and forth behind the badge,it works like a knife.

I'm debadged ,and proud enough to have a BIG i30ownersclub.com sticker on the back window,you cant not know its an i30. also its still got the big H in the middle of the grill, and the rear hatch.     im no badge snob.

 I'm not in favor of De badging .... this is my first i30 and although I've had a Tucson, Sonata (still have) and iload crew van, I'm more than happy to fly the Hyundai flag which is now an extremely good product and will leave a lot of the other manufacturers for dead and if the 'badge snobs'  want to play a 'lets pretend' game ..... Well if it makes them happy then good for them !! perhaps save a few more penny's and buy the ego boost one

I think most of our debadging members aren't hiding the brand (they generally leave the Hyundai Symbol untouched) tHey just like the cleaner look without all the different fonts and such (can see their point)

    Speaking of badges a growing number of dealers here are sticking their car dealership name to the duco in small gold or shiny letters just above the rear Hyundai badge which I would regard as vandalism's .... sticker to the back window and sign number plate surround is no problem but to stick their name on the duco of the car is going too far.

I feel the same....I find the numberplate surround and window sticker bad enough considering the dealer isn't paying me to advertise their dealership. They get removed pronto.
As for anything stuck on the duco? I wouldn't be leaving the yard until it's taken off...Stuff them!

I like the dealership number plate surrounds, I take it off and when serviced they put a new one on, so I take it off, and then it is serviced .... .... .... you get the idea...

    Thinking about badges on mine ..... I really don't like the 'Trophy' on the back of my cw,
It some how looks cheap and a bit tacky makes me think of the old days when cars use to have badges like 'automatic' on the back, I'm quite happy with the Hyundai, I3O and 2ltr badges. I'm too frightend to try and take it off with a heat-gun for fear of damaging the duco.

   Is there an easy solution to removing the 'Trophy' badge good people ? please.

I like the badges on diesels that say "injection"  do they make one that isnt?

i am proud to advertise the make, it has no stigma attached to it,
however i dont see why i should advertise the dealership, and i like all the visibility
i can get so his rear window ad went 1st day
