The weather here in Shropshire, Central England has been blue sky, sunny & warm today, Tuesday August 13th.

We are bracing ourselves for 50 Mph winds tonight and 2 inches of rain... so the Weather people say...

For the past 5 days we have had 21-24º C, little wind and a lot of sunshine

Thursday they say rain, but then there will be 25-30º C during the weekend..  :happydance:

Summer is here..  :sweating:

For the past few days, my temperature has been quite mild, I've had very little wind although I have been a bit wet.
Am I in season?  :undecided:

Just had another 15 minute downpour.

Roads flooded as the drains can't take the sudden deluge of rain.

I'm OK as I live at the top end of the road and slightly up hill

Hi all,

I am back for a couple of weeks from the oven I have been in for the last 5.5 months, back to the Newcastle area, OMG it is frickin COLD!!! only about 19 deg, give me a nice 50 deg any day!!

I have 8 days left here then back over for a couple of weeks.

Things I have missed here, cold water out of the tap, not wearing thongs in the showers, not walking 40 mts at night to relieve my sparrow bladder.

cheers

Pete

Very windy on NSW Far South Coast @Batemans Bay, 50 km/h gusts, but a pleasant 22C with the northerly.  Had no rain down here for around 6 weeks, very dusty.

Eye30 and our other British friends, can you send some of your rain over? :snigger:

Today on NSW South Coast, 100 km/h wind gusts, but sunny and mild.

The wind is so strong it would blow a dog off a chain. :P

OR maybe an i30 off the road?

Snow, with hail on the road driving home, pretty much unheard of in these parts.  :scared:

If our house was 25m higher in elevation we would have got snow at home. It was covering all the hills but most was gone by afternoon.

Snow looks pretty .. for want of a better word.. We are only about 70 metres above see level where we are so doubt it will ever snow here  :Pout:

Don't be so sure. It snowed at my work one year. We are in the water front. Probably 2m elevation. Was spectacular.
