Yeah, thanks Hemmi (and of course DR for asking the question in the first place) - My car goes in to have a Bury cc9060 hands free kit installed next Tuesday and the guy's never done an i30 before - I can print out these pics to help him. This thread is perfect timing for me (I booked the car in about 10 minutes ago!). So thanks again guys....edit - I may even try to install it myself :cry: - After taking the top tray out, the main piece of trim didn't want to move and I don't want to break it, so I put it all back together again. I wonder if there are any screws to remove that aren't in the pics (maybe/maybe not)
From what I can see with the help of these photo's it's actually easier to remove than many other cars radios....

Hmm nine of the little buggers eh? They look like locating dowels. Nice work
The main issue is that the plastics can easily get damaged as you stick different object between the hatch and the dashboard.
