I've just measured it at 6.5 inches
Goodness, we're getting that at night time. I might move.
That's warm.And dirty.
I would expire in 51 degree heat.
Quote from: panda on January 26, 2013, 08:17:31I would expire in 51 degree heat. But when they quote the temperatures in the 40's, that's actually in the shade, not in direct sun light. So it's in the 50's quite often anyway in the sun.Which is why I stay inside or in an air-conditioned car because I'd expire too.
Just a quick pic before all the snow melts

I didn't realise that some years ago,so when I was working on the farm out the back paddocks on my own,I couldn't work out why I was burning my hands through riggers gloves, pulling down and winding up plain wire fencing which we where going to replace, about three o'clock,I get a call from the boss on the two way asking where and what I was doing, when I told him all he siad is WTF are you doig out there in this heat doing that.It was a day it was 47.6 in the shade,he pulled the thermometer out of the weather station in the shade, sat it in the sun for a few minutes,it was well over 55c,subsiquently I didn't go back out that afternoon.
